Dave and I started a juicing lifestyle which we will try to implement into our everyday routine. We are going to monitor our bodies and write any changes that may occur while we begin this process.
I’ve had digestive issues for as long as I can remember and have been tested for a number of different diseases or conditions such as celiac disease, crohn’s and colitis disease. The doctors determined that I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and that I have an intolerance to dairy and have a gluten sensitivity.
Before this “diagnosis” I followed a variety of different lifestyles and cut gluten from my diet for a while. It worked really well for me, but I am the type of person that craves gluten products. It didn’t last and was too much of a challenge for me to stick with.
With this juicing diet, I will drink one juice each morning and have whole foods throughout the day. I have cut out all processed foods and most gluten and will only eat natural foods that are high in vitamins and nutrients. I want to get to know my body and understand what it needs daily.
On top of writing down how my body reacts to these changes, I have started taking daily pictures of my belly each morning. I will put together a collage at the end of the month and compare each image to see if there are any changes.
NOW that it is in writing, I’m being held accountable to do it… Pressure is on!
